A promotional event for Season 2 of the Netflix smash series "Squid Game" on Dec. 1 will be held at the Champs-Elysees, a leading shopping area in Paris, featuring Korean games like Red Light, Green Light, ttangttameokki (marbles) and gomujulnori (jumpsies).

To promote the forthcoming Season 2 of the K-drama, Netflix France on Nov. 25 said the event will feature such games shown in the series.

A combined 456 participants randomly selected will be divided into three teams. Dressed in the show's iconic green tracksuits, they will play the games under the watchful eye of Young-hee, the menacing robotic doll from the show that detects movement during Red Light, Green Light.

Netflix France said players from each team will use the best strategies to win under a friendly atmosphere that everyone can enjoy together.

A separate area will have seats for spectators.

Season 2 of "Squid Game" will premiere on Dec. 26.
